Construction!!!!

I am soooooooo sorry I am late Posting!!!! I have been unpacking boxes, watching all the construction for the new store and pricing items... lots and lots of awesome goodies!!!!! I am so excited and can't wait till the GRAND OPENING!!!! Nothing is official yet, but I am thinking 1st week of DECEMBER. How does that sound for you????? Construction is going to be done tomorrow. They are painting my walls as we speak!!!! I will still have classes until I open the store. My first crop will be next Friday...i already have 6 girls signed up and I still have room for 6 more!!! I am in the process of sending a NEWSLETTER for my upcoming classes and tell you a little about the products that I will carry in my store.

SCRAPBOOKING GONE WILD!!!

I am a guest designer for PAWS ON SCRAPBOOKING for the month of September. I am truly enjoying creating projects with the great kit I received. I just love my mini album of Family Times.

I also have been very busy with classes this past few weeks. I gave a class last Saturday on Summer Fun!!!! We started and finished an entire 8x8 album!!!! It was lots of fun!!! I hope you girls had as much fun as I did!!!!

I also started a BOOK OF ME class that is going to last a whole year until the album is finished. Once a month, we will have a class to work on our album. It will be a different theme everytime, but will be something about ME. I am very excited about this new class. We had our 1st one last Thursday. The title of our layout was "ME @ 35" and we also added journaling on the 2nd page. It was lots of fun!!!!

I have new problem which is actually a great one to have...waiting lists for my classes. All my classes from here to Christmas are full and some. I can't take more girls for my class because I simply don't have the room. Because of this new problem and since I am not working at the office anymore, I have decided to open my own store..."SCRAPBOOKING GONE WILD". YES... you heard right, I am opening a scrapbooking store downstairs. I am sooooooooooooo excited and a bit nervous at the same time. I already have my business number. WOW!!!! Is this really happening???? Who would of thought that I would have enough guts to go through this huge project. My wonderful husband is behind me all the way and has been more than supportive through all of this. We are planning to have construction done in January, so I think my GRAND OPENING would be aroung the beginning of MARCH. I can't really open officially until construction is done because I simply don't have the room now. Once it is all done, I should be able to hold at least 10 to 12 spots for classes. Isn't that AWESOME!!!! I will keep you posted on the progress of the store opening!!!! Hope to see you at the GRAND OPENING!!! LOL

On another note, I was soooo happy last week when my son finally was able to ride his tricycle. He has been outside everyday ever since then riding his bike...he just loves it!!!

Keeping Busy!!!!

Well the past few weeks have been pretty busy and fun!!! We brought Ethan to the St Andrews Aquarium. His favorite thing was watching the seals being fed. He didn't want to touch the star fish too much in the touch tank.

Ethan just loves to play with big dump trucks. He always has lots of fun when we go visit his cousins. I finally found a big dump truck for his birthday. I hope he likes it!!!!

We also went whale watching last weekend from St Andrews. Ethan decided he was going to take a nap on the boat. He slept for at least an hour and a half. He still got to see a whale on our way back. It wasn't one of our best whale watching trips. We didn't see lots, but it was still pretty cool seeing Ethan's reaction when he saw that whale. It was priceless!!!!

I am keeping busy lately trying to get all my scrapbook classes ready. I am giving a class this Saturday. We are going an 8x8 Summer Fun album!!!! I will post a picture as soon as I am done the project. I am just doing the finishing touches. I also am giving a class on September 26th which is a 2 page "At the Zoo" layout. There will be 2 classes in October. October 10th will be a 2 page "fall" layout and October 24th...of course we have to do 1 on Halloween. I hope these layouts will give you inspiration.

Lots of great NEWS!!!!

I have worked hard the past few months to try to be published and to be accepted on a design team. My hard work has finally paid off. I am also very busy planning all my classes coming up in the fall. I am looking foward to start my classes again. I am giving 2 in September, "Summer Fun" 8x8 album and a 2 page layout of pictures "At the Zoo". In October, I am doing a "Fall" 2 page layout and a "Halloween" 2 page layout. I sent my newsletter last week and 3 of my classes are already full. How exciting is that?????? I am sooooooooo looking foward to these classes. As soon as I take pictures of my projects, I will post pictures here on my blog. Don't forget to come check it out next week.

I don't know if you noticed... 2 of my layouts last week were "layout of the day" on 2 different web sites on the same day. How cool is that!!!!!

Fun Times!!!!

We are finaly back from vacation. We had rented a cottage in Barachois for 2 weeks. We had such a great time. We spent our time at the beach, Crystal Palace, Centennial Park, Magic Mountain, the Zoo... and so much more. Ethan had lots of fun playing with lots of his friends. We didn't see the sun as much as we would of loved, but that didn't stop us.

WHAT GREAT NEWS!!!!! I applied to be on the GUEST DESIGN TEAM for the month of September on the PAWS ON SCRAPBOOKING site. YES!!!! I made it. I am sooooooooo excited. The layout I sent for my application is "Precious Moment" with the picture of Ethan and I. I just love that picture.

I haven't been scrapbooking for the last 2 weeks because we were gone to the cottage, but stay tuned for new creations very soon. I have a few layouts on the go and I should be able to post them soon. I also will be starting my classes again in September. I will be sending a newsletter soon to announce the upcoming classes.

Busy!!! Busy!!! Busy!!!

We had sooooo much fun last weekend. We went to the zoo, visit friends in St Andrews and Ethan played X-Box for the first time. He's been wanting to play ever since. It's pretty cute.

I didn't even realize is was this late in the week and I haven't posted yet. OMG I am so busy this week trying to get ready for Vacation. I am so exciting... we rented a cottage in Barachois and we are leaving on Friday. I will be there for 2 weeks. YEA!!! YEA!!!! We will be spending lots of time at the beach, the water park, the zoo... and yes I will be taking lots and lots of pictures. I will probably not have time to scrapbook. Yikes!!! What will I do???? Well I will keep my blog up to date for you guys!!!! I'm glad I got lots done in the last few weeks. You'll be able to see a lot of my layouts in my slide show.
