A Few Pages

Hello scrappers,

So lots have been going on these past few weeks here. I went to Campbellton with my mom to visit my 95 year old grandmother that is in the hospital. She had a stroke over a month ago. Unfortunatly I don't think she will be going back home. It wouldn't be safe for her to stay home by herself. Hopefully she will be placed in a home where she can be taking care of.

Last weekend, we went to Barachois to celebrate my dad's birthday. We also visited with some of my aunts, uncles and my grandparents on my dad's side. I wish sometimes we lived closer to my family. I always enjoy going to visit and spending time with my family.

I had lots of fun last week scrapbooking with one of my friend that was on vacation. I got quite a few layouts done. Thanks Michelle for the great company and inspiration!!!

Here are the layouts I worked on:

Crackle it!

Hello scrappers,

How is your scrapbooking going???? Are you as busy as all of us???? I really sctruggle to get some scrapping time. It almost needs to be a scheduled thing . If not, I always find something else to do. I really miss being able to scrapbook at crops, so I have decided to start scrapbooking for myself and invite a few friends over. Well, that's what we did last Friday night. I had such a fun time and here is what I was able to work on.

I am just in love with any crackled product. Don't you just love the look of it???? Here I used Tarnished Brass Crackle Paint. I then added a bit of black ink to the edges. I also used my new Distress-it-all machine. It's my new favorite scrapbook toy!!! lol

I used Corrugated board on this layout for the first time. I just love it!!! I distressed the bottom of it with my Distress -it-all machine, sanded and inked it the top of it.

That is it for now. Thanks for stopping by.

Disney Trip!!!

Hello scrappers,

I am back. I can't believe it's been this long since my last blog. Since we have been back from our trip to Disney, it's been a little crazy here. It's hard to get back on track when you have been away for 2 weeks.

Our trip to Disney was amazing. We did all 4 Disney parks, the 2 Disney water parks, SeaWorld and Aquatica water park. Ethan's favorite parks were all the water parks. He loved the water rides the most. His favorite characters were Pluto and Mickey. We are already talking about our trip to Disney next year. We rented a house and OMW it's the way to go. We had our own pool and hot tub in the backyard. Ethan learned how to swim under water while we were there. How great is that!!! He is like a little fish. He just loves the water.

We also enjoyed a 3 day Disney cruise. We will certainly go on the Disney cruise again but only when Ethan is a little older. Since the shows were all in the evening, we missed a few because Ethan is still young to stay awake so late.

So lots of you have been asking for Disney pics...lol Here you go.

That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello scrappers,

And the countdown is on for DISNEY...only 7 more days and we are off to Florida. We will be spending 9 days in Disney/Seaworld and we are going on a 3 day DISNEY CRUISE. I am soooooooooo looking foward to a VACATION. We are almost all packed...lol

So I have been going nonstop for the past weeks now trying to get ready for our SCRAPBOOKING GONE WILD crop last weekend. Well it was all worth it!!! I had such a wonderful time with all the girls that came. A huge thank you goes to my WONDERFUL HUSBAND, VANCE ANDERSON, who spend the entire time preparing the amazing food for us!!! I sure appreciate everything you do to make things so much easier for me...I love you lots!!! Another huge thank you goes out to BRENDA KERNIGHAN for all your wonderful help. It wouldn't be as successfull without all your help...thank you!!!

I just submitted another picture for my Photography course. This lesson was on Portrait Pictures. Well I got my grade today and I am quite happy with my 90%. I have an average of 91.27% and I have 1 last assignment which includes 6 pictures. This last assignment is to practice everything I learned during the entire course. It will probably take me a few months to get the 6 pictures, but I will have fun during the summer taking lots of pics. Here is the picture I submitted of one of my really good friend's daughter and father.

So I have also been pretty busy playing with my new camera. Yes, I actually bought a CANON 7D. OMW, what an amazing camera!!!! I still don't know half of what this camera can do but I am learning as I go. LOTS OF FUN!!! I always had a hard time getting great action shots with my REBEL. Well what do you think about this???? Such an amazing camera!!!

And I am off to Perth-Andover this weekend for a Scrapbook Convention. I am really looking foward to it...not the packing though...lol I am sure it will be a good time!!!

That is it for now. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello bloggers,

I know it's been a while...it's been quite busy here. In the past few weeks, we have bought a new truck, been to Bangor for a few days, went to birthday parties and I scrapbooked a little. I had never been to the kids Museum in Bangor. WOW!!! It's a great place for kids of all ages. We were in there for at least 3 hours if not more with 5 kids from 3 years old to 7 years old. FUN!!!FUN!!!FUN!!! I didn't have a chance to download my pics yet. Hopefully this weekend I can show a few.
I think I am ready to see the sun again...3 days of rain is enough for me. I guess we are supposed to have a gorgeous weekend. I hope it's a beautiful day Saturday because I have 12 kids coming for an Easter Egg Hunt...should be lots of fun. I will hopefully have nice pics to show.

Here are a few layouts I did last week.
